What Is The Web Services Page?
It allows your escort directory web site to take advertising (either paid or free) from industry professionals such as web designers, hosting companies, photographers, make up artists, lawyers and more.

How It Works
Information can be submitted to the site via the 'web services' selection on the Advertise With Us page. It is then held in the content manager's 'holding pen' before publication - here you can delete, edit or aprove the ad. You can also create ads from the Web Services Page Editor.

What I Can Do In The Content Manager
There are two Web Services related pages in the Content Manager. Web Services Submission Page Editor and the Web Services Page Editor.

1.Web Services Submission Page Editor
Content Manager > Page Editor Menu > Web Services Submission Page Editor
Allows you to update the introductory text as seen on the web sevices page and to adjust the metatag information for that page.

2.Web Services Page Editor
Content Manager > Page Editor Menu > Web Services Page Editor
Allows you to update the introductory text as seen on the web sevices advertise page and to adjust the metatag information for that page.

The Web Services Page Editor

This is the holding pen for all the banners for the web services page. When an advertiser submits banner information from the web services submission form on the web site, it will be displayed on this page. It will not show up on the web site until you have activated the banner. You can edit the submitted descriptive text, alt tag or title, or delete the banner.

> Check the ACTIVE box to make the banner live.

> Link: The web address to which you want the Text Field to link to. You must type in http://www.webaddress.com. This field is mandatory.

> ALT: A search engine feature that enables you to attach 'invisible' text to the banner image (seen when you hover your mouse over the image). Make the text keyword rich.

> Title Field: The words that will appear directly the banner and will also be linked (make them keyword rich if you can)

> Description: Text area for a keyword rich description of the linking web site.

> Contact Name, E-Mail, Phone: contact information for the advertiser

> Comments: useful for start dates of advertisement, notes about length of period of ad, expiration date.

To delete a banner, check the DELETE THIS BANNER box, then hit the DELETE button at the base of the page

To add a web services banner that has either previously been uploaded or to bypass the web services submission page on the web site, please do the following:

If this is a new banner click UPLOAD. A pop-up will appear to allow you to BROWSE your computer's hard drive to find the correct banner image. Once you have found the banner image, click UPLOAD. This brings the banner from your hard drive into the content manager.

If this a banner that you have uploaded before, click on BROWSE. A pop-up will appear to allow you to SELECT your desired banner image. At this time, please DELETE old banners so that you do not exceed your web site's allocated server space. Good file management avoids clutter and is a good habit to get into.
