What Is A Top 100 Board?
A Top 100 board is a banner exchange system that has been added to the escort directory product to encourage other web sites to place your banner on their web site. Their banner, in return, is placed in your Top 100 Board. The more traffic (or 'clicks') from your banner on their web site to your web site results in their position on your board to go higher.

How It Works
Users sign up on the Top 100 page of your escort directory by clicking on ADD YOUR LINK. This takes them to a screen where they enter their name and contact information, upload their banner and submit their linking information, as well as telling you where your banner will be placed on their site. Once this has been submitted successfully, they will be taken to a second screen that enables them to grab your banner, and will also provide the unique URL for their banner to link to your site. This unique URL is how the Top 100 boards tracks the incoming clicks.

The number in the IN column on the Top 100 board indicates how many people have come from their site to yours. The OUT number tells us how many people have left your site and gone to theirs. The higher the 'IN' figure, the higher up the Top 100 board they will be.

What I Can Do In The Content Manager
Content Manager > Top 100 List Manager

Delete banners that do not have links from their site to yours.
 
Edit links and any other information that was entered incorrectly - click on the banner to be taken to the Banner Editor for reporting information and for access to all the banner information for editing.

Here you can edit information, replace the banner image and view statistics.

CLICKS IN means the number of times a banner was clicked on from the advertisers site
CLICKS OUT is the number of times the banner has been clicked on from the escort directory site to the advertisers site.

These numbers are displayed on the Top 100 Board. The content manager provides some protection for fraudulent inbound clicks.

> Banner Image URL: the web address of the advertisers banner. The banner must be stored on their server. Top 100 banners are not uploaded into the content manager

> URL: The web address to which you want the Text Field to link to. You must type in http://www.webaddress.com. This field is mandatory. Make sure the link is valid and correct else the banner will not function correctly.

> RECIPRICAL LINK: the web address in which the advertiser is displaying YOUR banner.

> Title Field: The words that will appear directly the banner and will also be linked (make them keyword rich if you can)

> Description: Text area for a keyword rich description of the linking web site.

> Comments: enter any text to help in the administration of this banner. 'Comments' text is not published to the web site.

To delete a banner, check the DELETE THIS BANNER box, then hit the DELETE button at the base of the page

To Add A Banner
Content Manager > Top 100 List Manager

Click on the 'ADD A NEW TOP 100 BANNER' text link to take you to the Top 100 Banner Editor screen. Select the User Name or add a new user. User IDs are also referred to as Client Names and useful for finding banners via the search tool on the previous page.

Enter all the banner information as described above, and hit the SAVE button.
