What Is A Site Map?
A site map is a single page document that lists every page
on your web site. This makes life a little easier for search engines
who refer to the site map page to look for updates on your site.
It also enables search engines to find all of your pages that
other wise may have been hidden.
Your Escort Directory Software comes with two site maps. One is
written in a language called XML and is primarily for Google,
and the others for all other search engines. The site map we provide
for Google is held on the web server and you cannot see it through
the web site or the content manager.
How It Works
Software is constantly patrolling your site to look for new page
additions. Once a new page has been identified, both site maps
are updated automatically. All escorts receive their own line
item listing in each of the site maps, along with several other
keyword rich descriptive words.
What I Can Do In The Content Manager
Content Manager > Page Editor Menu >
Site Map Page Editor
Since the site maps are generated automatically the content
manager allows you to edit the metatag
information and to write some keyword rich introduction text
for that page.
