What Is The Gallery Editor?
The Gallery Editor allows you to control all the escort listings. You can publish new ads, edit existing ads, temporarily hide ads for later reactivation, and permanently delete ads no longer required.

How It Works
Escort ad information is submitted to the site via the 'escort listing' selection on the Advertise With Us page. The text and images are then held in the content manager's NEW SUBMISSIONS 'holding pen' before publication. All escort ads are published on the 'escorts' page and will be displayed in the appropriate search results page as well as the appropriate 'Escort Type' galleries.

To make an escort to also appear on the home page or as The Girl Of The Month use the home page editor tool.

 
What I Can Do In The Content Manager
Content Manager > Gallery Editor

There are three sections to the Gallery editor. An escort ad can be in one of three states - active, inactive, and pending activation for new escort submissions.

Active Gallery
Via the drop down selection box you can select an escort - by clicking on the name - then edit, delete or make the escort ad inactive. You can also manually add new escorts by clicking on NEW, thus bypassing the usual web site submission process.


New Submissions
From the ESCORT LISTING selection on the Advertise With Us page, escort information (text and images) is sent into the content manager's holding pen. You can activate (publish) the new escort submissions via clicking on their name in the NEW SUBMISSIONS drop down selection, then clicking on SELECT. You may wish to manage the ad (see below). To publish the escort ad enter a Portfolio URL, select the ACTIVE checkbox and hit SAVE.

Inactive Escorts
When an escort's ad has expired, rather than delete the information completely, you can withdraw the ad from the published web site yet still retain her information in the holding pen by making the escort inactive. Select the escort's name from the dropdown selection box. then click SELECT. This will take you into the Portfolio Editor. Click the INACTIVE checkbox and hit SAVE.
 

To reactivate (publish) an inactive escort ad, click on the name from the drop down selection box to gain access to the Portfolio Editor, then click the ACTIVE checkbox and hit SAVE on the Portfolio Editor Page.

> Selecting an escorts name from any of the drop down menus will take you to the Portfolio page editor.

Managing Escort Ads
Content Manager > Gallery Editor > Portfolio Editor

The portfolio editor enables you to edit an individual escorts ad and enter the escort's meta data information. Carefully read the escort's bio, information, pricing and contact data to ensure for validity. Edit accordingly and SAVE.

The Portfolio URL is a mandatory field and must be entered for the escort's thumbnail image to link to her portfolio page.
> use keyword rich URLs, such as london_escorts_name.htm.

If the images that have been uploaded by the advertiser look distorted or have a large filesize, you may need to download them, edit them and upload them back into the escorts portfolio page. Hover your mouse over an image, RIGHT CLICK, SAVE PICTURE AS and save the image on your hard drive. Open up your image editor, crop the image and use the UPLOAD link to bring the image back into the content manager.

> Use keyword rich text to complete the ALT TAG text areas. 

To publish the escort ad, check the ACTIVE checkbox and hit the SAVE button.

To Manually Add a New Escort
Via the drop down selection box you select 'NEW" and hit the SELECT button, This will take you to a blank portfolio page, into which you can type your information and upload the escort images.

To add a home page 'Featured' escort image, please click 'Click To add Feature Images'. The image holding slots will appear. The Escort Directory Software allows you to upload multiple images that the content manager will display randomly. If this is a new escort image click UPLOAD. A pop-up will appear to allow you to BROWSE your computer's hard drive to find the correct image. Once you have found the escort image, click UPLOAD. This brings the escort image from your hard drive into the content manager.

Gallery Images refer to the small 'thumbnail' images that users click on to get to the escorts full portfolio page. The Escort Directory Software allows you to upload multiple images that the content manager will display randomly. BROWSE or UPLOAD your images.

> BROWSE or UPLOAD your main images, adding in relevant keyword rich ALT TAG text.

> Check the ACTIVE box to publish the banner to the web site. Leave this unchecked if you do not want the banner to publish just yet.

> Hit the SAVE button, and this escort will be published.

If you leave the ACTIVE box unchecked, the escort ad is not published, and instead will be stored for future use and accessible via the INACTIVE ESCORTS drop down menu on the main Gallery Editor page. To reactivate (publish) an inactive escort select her name from the INACTIVE ESCORTS drop down then check the ACTIVE checkbox, and hit SAVE.

 
To Delete An Escort
Select the escort's name from either drop down on the main Gallery Editor page. Hit the DELETE button to remove all information from the content manager's database pertaining to this escort. This function is different to moving an escort into the INACTIVE folder as it irretrievably deletes the escorts information. Please check the DELETE ESCORT IMAGES checkbox for permanent removal of the images also. Deleting unwanted escort ads an important aspect of file management and should be done rigorously.

To Control The Thumbnail Display Order
Content Manager > Gallery Editor > Reorder the Active Gallery

The display order for the 'Escorts' page (not the home page) is controllable by clicking on the 'REORDER THE ACTIVE GALLERY' text link on the main Gallery Editor page. Frequently you may want to highlight new escorts, or girls that have perhaps paid a premium, and this useful tool allows you to give selected escorts a high page position and so making the escort more visible.

Next to each escort's name simply type in which position (starting top row, left position) you want the escort to be displayed. If you do not give an escort a page position she will be displayed randomly after all the numbered escorts.
