What Is A Discussion Board?
A discussion board (sometimes called a forum) is an online community where users can login and post comments and reply to previously posted comments. This feature was added to the Escort Directory product to encourage people to come back to your site repeatedly, and so drive up the banner viewing statistics.

How It Works
All users of the site can view the discussion board, yet to interact they need to REGISTER and create a free membership. Registration involves agreeing to a disclaimer, setting up a login and password, and entering optional personal information. Every time users come back to discussion board they are required to log in.

What I Can Do In The Content Manager
Discussion boards function very much as their own stand alone entities and any administrative functions must be done through the board itself. Please ask Moist Pixels for your admin login and password.

To gain access to the administration functions, you simply login with your provided admin login and password. At the base of the forum is the text link GO TO ADMINISTRATION PANEL where, once again, you enter your admin login and password.

Once in, you will be able to delete posts, set up new discussion boards within the main board, set up word filters to prevent the use of vulgar or offensive language, ban users, ban IPs, designate other administrators and much more.
